The Pulsar Challenger GS Gen1 night vision monocular add on system is designed to be coupled behind a normal day telescopic sight to give it night vision capabilities. The system will work with most day telescopic sights, providing they have an adjustable objective, or preferably (for ease of use) a sidewheel focus system.

This new system is lighter, has higher resolution and better edge to edge resolution than the Cobra Merlin DSA system it replaces.

Useable range is 100-150m depending on conditions and day scope used with the system.

Due to the great deal of light loss through the day scope and the relatively low sensitivity of Gen1 (compared to Gen2+ and better tubes) these add on systems are only viable with extemely powerful IR illumination. This is why we will only supply the system with the 100mw high powered laser illuminators. If you allready own a high power IR source the kit can be purchased without the IR for £300

This night vision system is an excellent choice for someone wishing to have night vision capability on a number of rifles. It can also be used off the rifle as a night vision observation device.

Due to the short eye relief design of the monocular, the system is only suitable for use on pre-charged pneumatic air rifles, .22 and .17 rimfire rifles.
