It has high output power of 150mW adjustable with 3 power settings and an adjustable beam from 2 - 10 degrees. The illuminator is powered by 1 x CR123 battery. This is the most powerful illuminator on the market. Effective range of our Gen1 scopes is increased to 200 yards and our Gen2 scopes to 400 yards with the ability to detect predators eyes at 600 yards and more!

The adjustable power means you can use high power for very long range spotting and low power for closer range shooting to get a better contrasting image and conserve battery power.
